📋 Strict Driver Requirements
To ensure the safety of our members and the quality of local farm produce, our vetting process is much stricter than standard gig apps.
- ✓Valid Ontario G License with a clean abstract (no major infractions in the last 3 years).
- ✓Commercial Insurance Endorsement (we provide guidance on obtaining this).
- ✓Comprehensive Background Check including vulnerable sector screening.
💰 The Compensation Package
You are an employee and a co-owner, not an independent contractor dodging algorithms.
- ✓Guaranteed Hourly Living Wage: Rate is voted on annually by the cooperative. Always calibrated above the official Ontario Living Wage. No tipping required or allowed.
- ✓Quarterly Profit Share: A dedicated portion of all net revenue on the platform is split evenly among drivers based on hours worked. Distributed every quarter.
- ✓1 Share, 1 Vote: You get an equal vote on the board of directors alongside farmers and grocery buyers.
